Unlike
most other systems available today, the EVO electric brake controller
eliminates the need for inertia control by measuring the drivers
braking response directly from the tow vehicles brake pedal. The
sophisticated on-board control electronics allow the driver to
calibrate the tow vehicles braking characteristics with the EVO brake
controller for even smoother, and safer braking operations.
Sens-a-Brake's
EVO brake pedal pressure sensor is supplied in two sizes to fit
either manual or automatic transmissions, and can easily be removed if
the vehicle is updated or exchanged.
 In
addition to the true proportional response from the brake pedal, the
EVO brake control package includes a unique 'mouse' for enhanced
trailer control, sway correction, and system communication. The unique
'panic' button is used to send a pre-set braking pressure, for a set
duration, to the trailer brakes only in the event of dangerous
sway situation. After pressing the panic button, light braking
pressure will assist in straightening the trailer while allowing the
driver to keep both hands on the wheel maintaining safe control of the
tow vehicle.
The EVO controller is supplied in three parts and with comprehensive and easy to follow instructions.
